The project is called Rewiring America and it’s part of the Inflation Reduction Act. What it boils down to is, you may be eligible for tax breaks and rebates to take on home electrical upgrades. Whether you need to update your homes historic wiring, replace your electrical panel, install an Electric Vehicle Charging Station, or replace old combustion powered appliances (ie: boilers, furnaces, gas dryers & water heaters) with new electrical, energy efficient units, there may be some money to help. The availability of funds is based on household income but it’s worth taking a look and applying to see if you qualify.
